What I love

Being born into a bakers family, I miss the smell of freshly baked bread that wafted through the house every day. Back then, everyone was welcome and was happy to stay for dinner. Then, a large pan of fried potatoes was placed on the kitchen table and everyone was given a fork…

What inspired me

Later I spent many years traveling in Germany and abroad for work. I have visited hotels, enjoyed many breakfast buffets and organised numerous events, including conferences for doctors and training courses, sometimes for 800 people. I also put on a variety of events with friends, like for the Ladies Circle, celebrations, concerts, theme parties and children’s parties.

What I wish for

I want to give my guests exactly what makes me happy: a warm atmosphere, conviviality and good, down-to-earth food - small, fine and sophisticatedly different. It makes me happy if the Cafe & Hotel Plauderei in Bad Zwischenahn is well received and you give me and my committed team a satisfied smile every now and then.
